âWe have two very active boys involved in sports, and I work during the day, but I could still log in and do what I needed to during the times that worked best for me. Going online was the best thing for us, for my family.â
âIt took me 21 years to finish. Iâm still in awe that I actually did this. My first semester on campus, I remember using the telephone dial-up to register for classes. Itâs been neat to see the Universityâs complete transition to modern technology.â

Karen LeDouxâs academic goals sat on the back burner for decades until she found she could use her existing college credits to complete her bachelorâs degree online. Once she walked through that door, she found new opportunities on the other side.
âI enjoyed it because I could take classes I was interested in. I didn't have a certain curriculum I had to follow to the T. Health always interested in me, so I took a lot of health and psychology classes.â
